Travelers between Medellín and the Eje Cafetero can soon breathe a sigh of relief as the notorious stop-and-go traffic controls on the Pacific 3 highway, particularly between La Pintada and La Felisa, are set to end. With 99.9% of the construction work completed, the project’s focus is on finishing the final stretches. The initiative aims to significantly reduce travel times, facilitating smoother transit between Antioquia and the coffee region. The completion marks a major milestone in Colombia’s infrastructure development, promising enhanced connectivity and economic growth for the region.

Since 2018, I have resided in Medellín. My work as a digital nomad for the past ten years brought me to the city initially, and I quickly became enamored during a three-month stay. In addition to the pleasant climate, I appreciate the green environment of Medellín and the proximity of charming villages with distinct microclimates. My interests include travel, exploring diverse cuisines, and historical studies. I hope this website will allow me to share my experiences and provide insight to those with questions about Medellín and Colombia.
