Residents of the Málaga building in Medellín’s El Poblado neighborhood are facing ongoing disruptions caused by a foreign resident‘s frequent, loud parties. The issue gained widespread attention after former congressman José Obdulio Gaviria of the Centro Democrático party shared residents’ concerns on social media.
Allegations against the resident include loud music, drug use, and the presence of scantily clad women, some of whom have reportedly engaged in provocative behavior in public areas. Videos shared by Gaviria depict residents’ attempts to address the situation, including contacting the police. However, residents claim authorities have not provided an adequate solution.
